I have been busy making boxes to hold my calligraphy pens. I have used some of the eco prints. I also used a particularly beautiful piece of fabric that I did ages ago with Bev. Bev showed Vicki and I how to make this fabric. I have forgotten the process unfortunately because this is worth repeating. |
First paste out the muslin, (on newspaper) Lay the crumpled tissue on top, smooth out but leave wrinkles. Paste the tissue. Then paint with inks, paints etc, blending colours to suit.
Leave to dry.
When dry the piece may be crumpled again if desired, and smoothed out. It can be ironed also.
Thanks again Bev!
