Just completed a papermaking workshop out at Strathnairn. What a lovely place to spend two days. Views of the Brindabella's and just lovely countryside. They have a gallery and a little cafe as well.
I learnt that making paper is very labour intensive and but also great fun. We made paper out of Canna Lilies and Aspidistra leaves. Towards the end when we were running out of plant material we combined it with some paper mulch.
The paper took ages to dry.
I'm not sure when or how I will use it but the process of making it was great.
